Installing WordPress through cPanel with Softaculous

Once your hosting account has been configured and your domain name has been pointed to our DNS Zone, You can log in to your cPanel directly from within your Dynamic Servers account:

Once you have clicked “Login to cPanel”, the system will automatically log you into the cPanel account:

Our hosting packages offer a quick and easy way to install WordPress in a few clicks through the Softaculous interface. To access WordPress management, click on “WordPress Manager by Softaculous” in the left-hand menu:

Clicking this will take you to the Softaculous interface. Once logged in to the interface, click on the blue “Install” button:

In the first step, the system will ask you to choose your installation URL, directory and version of WordPress. The best protocol to select is “https://www.”. Select your relevant domain name (Some plans only allow one domain name to be added). And then choose your directory (Note: For live websites, leave this field blank). We recommend that you use the latest version of WordPress at all times. The latest versions will always have important security updates already applied.

The next step is to give your website a name and a description. By default, these are set to the following:

We also recommend ticking the “Disable WordPress Cron” box as this will prevent the WordPress cron from activating every time someone accesses your website and will instead run twice per hour in the background.

The next step is to set up your main administrator login details. Choose a username and a password, we recommend setting the admin email to your email as this is where important information and password reset emails.

The next step is to choose the primary language of your website plugins. We only recommend that you install LiteSpeed Cache at this stage (Only certain plans have the option for LiteSpeed page caching.)

Once you have selected the options, you can then proceed to click “Install”. This will then install your WordPress website and will present you with the following screen:

Clicking on the “Administrative URL” will automatically allow you to log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
